Jackson keen to stay with Addicks

The 27-year-old began his temporary stay at The Valley a week ago and, with the Magpies in financial trouble, there are doubts over whether he will return to the League Two club.Former Tottenham trainee Jackson is enjoying being back in the capital, and he told the South London Press: "In an ideal world Charlton is a great club and it's a place where I would like to play my football."Being a London boy, it's a great club for me to be at and I was delighted when the chance to come here arose."I've been given an opportunity and it's up to me to impress the people here and to show that I can be an asset."But I don't know whether Charlton will be in a position to do anything at the end of the 28 days, so for now all I can do is concentrate on playing."
