Narrow win delights Glovers boss

The only goal of the game came after just five minutes, albeit in fortunate circumstances, when Saddlers goalkeeper Clayton Ince spilled a long ball from Gavin Tomlin and Sam Williams, who had a spell on loan at Walsall last season, managed to turn the loose ball into the empty net while lying on the ground. The result was a big boost for Yeovil who had lost their last three matches without scoring and Skiverton said: "We have earned that bit of luck. It was easier to defend on that pitch and it worked well for us."Walsall have been going up and down the country beating everyone so to come here and get a result was pleasing. We rode our luck on a couple of occasions but have come away with a very creditable win."
