Connerton lands short Crewe trial

The 19-year-old Lancaster City striker is currently training with Dario Gradi's first-team squad.Connerton is trying to follow in the footsteps of Carl Martin and Danny Gardner, who have recently been plucked from the non-league scene by Alex and offered a deal.Connerton made his debut for Lancaster at the age of 16. He has also had a spell at Kendal Town.
