Crocked Johnson set to hand Liverpool major boost with first-team return

Back: Glen JohnsonLiverpool manager Rafa Benitez hopes right-back Glen Johnson will return to fitness next week.Johnson has been out of action since sustaining a knee injury in the 1-0 win at Aston Villa on December 29, 2009.And the Anfield boss, who has just welcomed Fernando Torres and Yossi Benayoun back to the first-team fold, is hopeful his big-money summer signing will return to action soon.He said: 'I think we have enough quality, Yossi Benayoun is coming back, Fernando Torres is coming back, hopefully Glen Johnson will come back in the next week.'So we are now bringing players back and the competition will be better for us and hopefully we can improve.When questioned on his view of Vincent Kompany's challenge on Benayoun which might have earned Liverpool a late penalty during Sunday's goalless draw, Benitez added: 'Yossi thought it was a penalty but was trying to play on.'Sometimes it is good in terms of fair play and sometimes it is bad for the result.
