Wright-Phillips charged with violent conduct after Delap clash

Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.The charge relates to an incident between the 27-year-old and Stoke's Rory Delap during City's 1-0 defeat at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday, which was missed at the time by referee Martin Atkinson.
