No break for Gowser

Paul McGowan could be back for Saturday's trip to Aberdeen after it emerged the midfield maestro hasn't broken his toe. McGowan missed last night's Scottish Cup win against Queen of the South after pciking up an injury while being kicked off the park against Inverness Caley Thistle at the weekend. There were suggestions he could be out for as long as 10 weeks - a huge blow considering how poor we were without him last season. However, a scan has revealed the damage was nowhere near as bad as first feared and manager Danny Lennon is hoping to have him back for Saturday's trip to Aberdeen. That would be a huge boost, as long as heMcGowan If Gowser is available it creats a bit of a dilemma for Lennon as Gary Harkins stepped in last night and had a good game, scoring the first of our three goals. No doubt the sort of selection headache every manager enjoys, rather than dreads.
