Do We Already Have Coloccini Replacement?

We all know Fabricio Coloccini is reaching the end of his Newcastle Utd career, be it January or after the World Cup. He will return to Argentina sooner rather than later. The national (and local) media have been pulling names from a hat to suggest his replacement, but do we have him already? Steven Taylor has praised his Newcastle United team-mates after they ended the club’s Old Trafford hoodoo on Saturday . a man on the outside looking in. But he is ready - and willing - to return to the first team. Taylor has played just 45 minutes of Premier League football this season, which ended with his sending off in the opening day 4-0 loss at Manchester City. He has been unable to break back into the squad since, with a hamstring injury sidelining him and then the form of Mike Williamson, Fabricio Coloccini and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa keeping him out. Taylor did not even make the squad for the clash, but has hailed Alan Pardew’s gameplan and the way Newcastle went about beating the Premier League champions. Steven Taylor: “It’s always going to be difficult as you know Manchester United will always get chances because they are a quality team. “We defended from the front, with (Loic) Remy causing problems all afternoon for their defenders. “We passed it well in tight spaces, which when playing away games we have not done well in years. They asked questions, we answered them. “It’s all fine and well defending good and playing well, but if you don’t score it counts for nothing and when Yohan scored it was just what we needed. “The lads were buzzing with the result and it gives us so much confidence for the next game against Southampton.” Saturday December 1412:45 Manchester City v Arsenal 15:00 Cardiff City v West Brom 15:00 Chelsea v Crystal Palace 15:00 Everton v Fulham 15:00 Newcastle United v Southampton 15:00 West Ham United v Sunderland 17:30 Hull City v Stoke City Sunday December 1513:30 Aston Villa v Man Utd 13:30 Norwich City v Swansea City 16:0 Tottenham v Liverpool IDEAL FOR CHRISTMAS MAGPIES IN EUROPE - HARVEY TO PARDEW The new version of "Magpies In Europe" is available NOW.
