Why We Were Lucky Not Signing Andy Carroll

Considering we were heavily linked with signing Andy Carroll last January, he has yet to make a single appearance for West Ham this season, AND he has another set back! Carroll was today heading back to his Belgian recovery clinic after suffering a minor stomach problem over the last 24 hours. West Ham have played it down, and claim he is now ready to resume the recovery treatment for his troublesome heel, but a doctor claims he could be in Belgium for more than ten days.   Source: Newcastle United Mad
