Back To Winning Ways

Preston ended their three game losing streak with an away win at Gillingham. After having their unbeaten league run broken  by two league defeates Preston needed to get back on trip and managed three points away at Gillingham. Grayson through a surprise by starting youngster Josh Brownhill for the firt time in place of Iain Hume as he looked to pack the midfield at Gillingham where interim boss Peter Taylor took charge for the first time. North End dominated the possession but could not find the net in the first half. Kenae then found the net shortly after half time for the first of his season. This was followed up by Brownhill's first goal for the club. Gillingham pulled one back through Kedwell to make it a nervy final fifteen minutes for the visitors. Preston held on and noved back up to fourth in the table with a game against surprising high flyers Bradford at Deepdale on Tuesday. Source: WHITES
