Obertan To Get On His Bike In January?

Gabriel Obertan has hinted he could consider a move away from the club if he fails to break into Alan Pardew's side. He has yet to win over the majority of Newcastle fans, and Alan Pardew's 'scratched record' of an endorsement "he runs very very fast" is becoming tiresome. Red Rum could run fast, so can Mo Farah, but you wouldn't sign the Olympic champion for NUFC on the strength that he could run fast. And that is the problem with Obertan. Yeah he's like 'shit off a stick', but put a ball at his feet and expect him to do something with it, and that's were he has problems. And he certainly isn't a Ketsbia or Lua Lua super-sub, either. He has the pace to shake up a tired opponents defence by being introduced late in the game, but he rarely makes any impact at all . apart from bring out the groans in the crowd. Gabriel Obertan: "I will consider my options in December. "Everything is possible. I will see what's going on until December, and I'll see what is best for me and the club. "I can't obviously keep on being on the bench and not being involved. I'll see what's best for the club and me. "I'm feeling good physically and mentally at the moment. "I'm quite confident. It's not easy to be on the bench and not come on, but it's part and parcel of the job. "I just have to keep waiting and working hard. "It's a test, mentally. You must keep on focusing on an opportunity, because you never know when it will come. I'll be ready for it." NU-MAD - WE TELL IT AS IT IS!
