County chief's administration vow

Trew's consortium last week completed their takeover from former executive chairman Peter Trembling and are now dealing with the aftermath of Munto Finance's ill-fated spell in charge.County are at least £4milion in debt and face a winding-up order from HM Revenue & Customs. But Trew told the club's official website: "We want to avoid administration at all costs."We have been exploring every avenue in our search for a solution to the current financial problems at the club and we have already had some success to this end in reducing the outgoings significantly."However, we refuse to cut corners in this task as we look to build a solid platform from which to launch Notts County Football Club forwards in the years to come, both on and off the pitch."
