Jackett wants more from striker

The 22-year-old has scored just once in 14 appearances this season and was dropped from the squad altogether for the win over Exeter last Saturday."January was a period of change and in that Lewis showed flashes of being the player we know he can be, but hasn't done it consistently enough to warrant staying in the team," Lions boss Jackett told the Southwark News."Should things change then I'd be open to that, but on Saturday he was fully-fit but I decided not to select him. But he trained this week and trained very well."He's shown a very positive response and that's what he has to do because he needs to push ahead and come back because in professional football you must always fight back but undoubtedly he'll be disappointed at being left out and I hope it has the desired effect."
