Wayne Rooney's remarkable season hit new heights with his double strike against AC Milan in the Champions League. His two headed goals take his tally for the season to 26 and place Manchester United in pole position to make it through to the quarter finals. Rooney has certainly taken up the slack left by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and is now firing in goals as regularly as the talismanic Portuguese forward did. It's now five and a half years since he moved to Old Trafford and here are just some of Rooney's magic moments.  Lightning StartRooney joined United for £27m from Everton in August 2004 and he didn't take long to endear himself to the Old Trafford faithful. Just under a month after joining he scored a hat-trick, on his debut. The treble came in the Champions League clash with Fenerbahce, which the Reds won  6-2.
