Kinnear Will Decide Taylor Future!

Steven Taylor says he will NOT be leaving Newcastle United - despite Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp trying to take him to Loftus Road. Redknapp – who signed free agent Danny Simpson after his Newcastle contract expired earlier this month – is rebuilding the team which was relegated from the Premier League last season. But, despite the fact United manager Alan Pardew is determined to hold on to the influential defender . the final word lies with Newcastle Director of Football, Joe Kinnear! And the 27-year-old – who is under contract until 2016 – isn’t looking towards the exit door at St James’s Park, despite the club’s disappointing domestic campaign last term. Taylor: “Every player at this club wants to do well. “I’m just hoping next season we can surprise a few people, and answer the questions that have been asked of us as a group. “We want to jump up that league and answer our critics.” Taylor was linked with a move to QPR as part of a swap deal for striker Loic Remy over the weekend. However, Remy – who snubbed a move to St James’s Park in January – isn’t understood to be among Pardew's main striking targets . but that depends on Kinnear (who is currently on holiday). Kinnear has already snubbed everyone of Pardew's transfer targets, including Brazilian Douglas - who was days away from signing for Newcastle. Source: Newcastle United Mad
