Toon Table £12m Bid!

Newcastle United have reportedly made their interest in Wilfried Bony concrete this week by tabling a £12m offer for the Ivory Coast striker. Bony has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League for over a year, with West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce a long-term admirer - until he signed Andy Carroll. The Magpies have stolen a march on their rivals for Bony's signature by offering Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem around £12m for the 24-year-old, according to talkSPORT. Everton, Swansea City and Anzhi Makhachkala are all thought to be monitoring Bony's availability this summer after a breakthrough season in Eredivisie, which saw the marksman bag 31 league goals.     Source: Newcastle United Mad
