Cherries: Howe boosted by news on Molesley and Cooper

BIG guns Shaun Cooper and Mark Molesley could hand Cherries a timely boost by hitting the comeback trail next month simultaneously. The influential pair are currently at different stages of their respective rehabilitation programmes but have been pencilled in to return to action towards the end of March. Cooper, who has been sidelined since undergoing major hip surgery in the summer, rejoined Eddie Howe's squad for a couple of training sessions last week. Molesley is taking his first steps on the road to recovery after being laid up for four months by a foot problem which required him to have an operation last month. Cherries physio Steve Hard said: Shaun is back in training and did a couple of sessions last week. If he keeps progressing in training, we will be looking for a reserve game mid-March. He will need to train for a good few weeks before he can think about playing again. Mark Molesley is progressing well so should probably be jogging about three weeks from now. We would probably be looking to get him back into training in about five weeks and he would need a fortnight to get his fitness levels up. If everything goes to plan, we would hope to have them both back towards the end of March or at the beginning of April. Scott Guyett is still around six weeks from a return to training after going under the knife to remedy a knee problem last week, while Joe Partington is expected to return to training early next week following a back problem. Ryan Garry is expected to be out for another week with his groin injury.
