Midland Football Alliiance Awards .Coventry Sphinx were represented at the 19th Midland Football Alliance awards on Saturday night at Walsall FC's Bescot Stadium. The awards, which saw flowers for Sphinx Secretary and Covsupport News Service correspondent Jackie McGowan who is a Committee Member of the Midland Football Alliance, were as follows: Joe McGorian Memorial Cup - Gresley FC Pat Fellows Memorial Best Programme Award- Winner Highgate United. Runners Up Dunkirk Bernard Davis Memorial Disciplinary Award - Loughborough University. Runner Up Continental Star, 3rd Ellesmere Rangers.
