Griffiths in line for Posh recall

Griffiths will return to the Posh side on the left of a three-man defence after Tom Williams joined Preston on loan.Williams has started all three games since Gannon took charge at London Road but has been allowed to join former Posh boss Darren Ferguson at Deepdale.Striker Craig Mackail-Smith is hoping for a recall after being left out of the 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on Saturday.Centre-half Gabriel Zakuani is still out with his groin injury but Gannon has no further injury problems as he looks for a second home win of his brief reign.Saturday's defeat left Posh 12 points adrift of safety with just 45 more points available.
