Pardew Wants A Clean Sheet At Loftus Road

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa's versatility is proving a strength in Newcastle United's relegation battle. Alan Pardew: “We defended really well, and I thought Mapou at left-back was terrific. “We’ve lost Davide Santon and Sadio. “We had a performance going into (QPR) which gives us encouragement. “That’s probably an area which we haven’t done well in recently. He (Yanga-Mbiwa) was terrific. That really bodes well.” Pardew will have Mathieu Debuchy again available, with the right-back having served a one-game suspension for his dismissal in the club’s 6-0 defeat to Liverpool.   Source: Newcastle United Mad
