Cherries: Molesley missing Daggers date

Cherries visit Dagenham and Redbridge today with fond memories of their last visit to Victoria Road. But the man who handed them a dramatic late victory last Febru-ary Mark Molesley will not be able to repeat the feat at the London venue this time round. The all-action midfielder is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery on a persistent foot injury last month and he is due to see a specialist for a follow-up appointment on March 4. And he has spoken of his disappointment at missing the fixture, having previously described his solo winning goal against Dagenham last season as the best moment of his career. He said: I suppose it is disappointing to miss any game, but you can't help look back and see what happened at Dagenham not far from this time last year. Now it's like chalk and cheese. Molesley has been consoled by Cherries' continuing good form and he was full of praise for the team's great performance against Notts County in midweek. The former non-league star added: I thought, particularly in the first half, it was unbelievable. In the first half, there were so many good performances and we really proved a point.
