Gibbs pens new deal with Royals

Gibbs, 44, has been with the club since the summer of 2006 and will remain a key part of manager Brian McDermott's backroom staff.He said: "When Brian became manager he asked me to help him and now it's been made permanent."The young players who are progressing into the first team are ones I have worked with before and hopefully we can do well together."
