Macc boss: Butcher has key role

Alexander returned to his former club Lincoln to sign Butcher on a month's emergency loan earlier this week.He scored on his debut for the Silkmen in Tuesday's defeat at Bury and Alexander is confident he will continue to prosper.He said: "We've been struggling in that department so I was pleased to bring him in."He put in a good, solid performance at Bury and will get better as he gets fitter."
