Liverpool FC fans jury

JOHN CRUCES, KirkbyLAST week I wrote that I had been taking a load of stick going into the derby and was told we would take a hiding. Well it's safe to say both sides took a hiding in one of the fiercest fought-out derbies in years. Obviously the focal point in the first half was the sending off. There can be no arguments that it was a red for the Greek, however considering that Fellaini was already on a yellow card he was very fortunate not to be carded as well, as was Pienaar for his challenge on Mascherano. It would be easy to point fingers at who fouled who, but if I was blue the only question I would be asking is, where was the attacking play when facing 10men?If anything 10 men benefited us more. Simply speaking we wanted it more. All 10 players 'played for the shirt'.Moving forward we have to now kick on to save something from the season. If we play every game as a derby then we should be okay for the important Champions League place.
