Spireites star out for six weeks
The nine-goal striker has been to see a specialist and tests have uncovered a tear in part of the cartilage in his right knee.Lester has missed the Spireites' last two league matches but John Sheridan's side have recorded back-to-back victories against Morecambe and Lincoln. He looks set to miss at least four more games.Meanwhile, Phil Picken will be out for up to three weeks after the defender suffered a knee ligament strain in training.Better news for boss Sheridan is that forward Drew Talbot has been given the all-clear to resume action following an ankle injury and he could come back into the reckoning for the visit of promotion rivals Bury at the weekend.
