Dundee United will be without Paul Dixon for at least two weeks after the left-back suffered a recurrence of knee ligament damage in the Active Nation Scottish Cup win at St Johnstone.
Dixon's absence leaves manager Peter Houston with a selection headache, with Michael Kovacevic already sidelined because of a broken nose.
That would leave Sean Dillon as United's only recognised full-back for Wednesday night's Clydesdale Bank Premier League game with Hamilton.
Houston said of Dixon in the Evening Telegraph: "We'll need to let his knee settle down over the next few days before we get a more accurate picture, but, right now, we are looking at him definitely being out for the next couple of weeks."
