Inter Milan fined for rascist slurs against Mario Balotelli

Inter Milan have been fined £50,000 euros (£43,200) after a section of fans racially abused AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli during Sunday night's Milan derby, the Lega Serie A have confirmed.The Lega took action after the 22-year-old was subjected to "racially discriminatory chants" by a section of Nerazzurri fans at the San Siro, while several supporters were seen waving inflatable bananas towards the Italy international.A statement published on Gazzetta.it confirmed that Balotelli has also been fined 10,000 euros (£8,600) for directing a vulgar gesture at the Inter fans when leaving the pitch at the final whistle, with Milan receiving a 10,000 euro fine for unveiling "insulting banners".Inter were recently fined 20,000 euros (£13,200) when a section of fans were heard singing racist songs about Balotelli during a Serie A match against Chievo.
