Lukaku is so determined to succeed at Stamford Bridge that he watches
recordings of his own performances every day and that dedication is helping
to improve his chances of appearing on Chelsea’s
  end-of-season DVD next year.
While Fernando Torres struggles to repair his reputation, Lukaku is enhancing
his with each passing week at West
Bromwich Albion and his performance in the 2-1 win against
Sunderland was arguably his most outstanding display yet. Suddenly those
comparisions with Didier Drogba do not seem so lazy after all.
Discussions are expected to take place over another loan deal for the Belgium
international, but while the future of Rafael Benítez remains uncertain,
whoever is in charge at Chelsea next season will surely have to utilise the
  club’s £18 million signing.
Lukaku said: “I don’t know what they will decide. We will have a chat about
how to build up a good career for me at Chelsea. There are a lot of clever
people over there and they are seeing that I am playing in a good way. Every
10 days I have a meeting with them and sometimes they just come and talk
with me and say what I have to improve.
“I watch my games every day on DVD, but that’s normal if you want to be at the
top level. You have to be focused. I’m not wasting my time with my career
right now. I’m 19 but I know what I want and I know what I want to realise
  in the future.”
