Injury Boost For Rovers

Blackburn have been boosted by the news that striker Leon Best could find himself back in the game when Rovers under 21's take on Watford tonight. Rovers suffered a massive blow after signing Best last summer from Newcastle United, he suffered a cruciate knee injury in a friendly ahead of the new season and the £3million investment had to take to the sidelines. Rovers' boss Michael Appleton confirmed Best should get a run out when he told reporters: "We've got a reserve team game tonight which is going to be good because Leon Best will get his first game. "Dickson Etuhu will get a run-out tonight, Adam Henley, Fabio Nunes and Josh Morris, so there is going to be a few faces that have been in and around the first team that are going to be playing this evening. "So I'm looking forward to seeing how they do before I travel up to Hull." Source: RoversMAD
