Chelsea set to sign unhappy Manchester City star Robinho with sale of Drogba
Chelseawill finance a move for Manchester City'sunhappy Brazilian star Robinho by selling Didier Drogba at the end of the season.The News of the World reports Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is determined to land Robinho and even attempted to do a deal in the transfer window only to be rebuffed by City boss Mark Hughes.Chelsea are reported to have attempted a swap deal to bring Robinho to Stamford Bridge with £27m-rated Drogba moving in the opposite direction. Chelsea still expect to get at least £20m for Drogba in the summer which would still help towards signing Robinho, who joined City from Real Madrid for £32.5m on the last day of the transfer window in September. Robinho is said to 'regret' joining City who were beaten 1-0 at Stoke City at the weekend and struggling in 10th place in the Barclays Premier League table.
