Semi-final ticket details announced

Saints have been handed more than 8,000 tickets for this month's League Cup semi-final showdown with Celtic at Hampden - and for once they seem to be reasonably priced. Some of the 8,300 tickets the club have been allocated - with more available if those sell out - are for the main stand and these cost £20 for adults. By comparison, that's how much it cost to attend Wednesday's SPL match against Kilmarnock at Greenhill Road so it seems a fair deal. The west stand has also been allocated to Saints with tickets costing £15 for adults and £5 for children. Tickets for both stands are on sale to season ticket holders at www.smfctickets.co.uk and from the ground on Monday, before going on general sale a week later. The semi-final is due to be shown live on BBC and is scheduled to kick-off at 2.30pm on Sunday, January 27. Let's hope it's more successful than our last trip to the national stadium.
