Carroll - Toon Army Will Give Me Hard Time!

Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is preparing to return home to Newcastle on Sunday and he fully expects a hostile reception. The 23-year-old left the Magpies for Liverpool in January 2011 in a deal worth £35million, but he was sent out on loan to the Hammers at the beginning of this campaign. Andy Carroll: "I am looking forward to going home. "I went back with Liverpool and I got a few boos and a bit of stick but it was all good. "I want to go back now and hopefully win this time because last time I went we were beaten." Former Toon midfielder Kevin Nolan believes that Carroll will produce a string of goals once he finds the net for the first time in a Hammers shirt. Kevin Nolan: "I don't think Andy has got a point to prove to anybody. "Once that first goal comes the floodgates will open." . Source: Newcastle United Mad
