Dundee United made a £1.45million profit in their latest financial year after cashing in on David Goodwillie and Scott Allan.
United turned around a deficit of about £500,000 and made £1.45million in the year to June 2012.
The club made a profit of more than £2.1million in transfer fees thanks to Goodwillie's move to Blackburn and Allan's switch to West Brom.
The club reduced their bank debt from £5.4million at the start of the 12-month period to £3.7million in July.
