Preston fought back from 4-1 down to beat leads in an extraordinary match at Elland Road. Preston took the lead after five minutes with Parkin but quickly found themselves trailing 4-1 after goals from Bruce, Becchio and a double from Somma. Parkin scored again with five minutes to go before half time to make it 4-2 but no one could predict what would happen after the interval. Treacy pulled a third goal back for Preston ten minutes after the restart and the comeback was officially on. A flurry of 3 goals in 21 minutes sealed victory for Preston, stunning the Leeds faithful. Leeds manager Simon Grayson: “There were far too many errors – both individually and collectively.
