Time for McGinn again

Former Queen's Park defender Paul McGinn has continued his family's association with Saints by joining the Buddies until the end of the season. The 21-year-old is the brother of former Saints midfielder Stephen, now at Watford, and current youth player John - so how he didn't start his career with us is a mystery! The new McGinn, who can play in defence or midfield, was a regular for Queen's Park for the past two years before leaving in the summer. A number of clubs, including Aberdeen, Dundee United and Fulham, were supposedly after him before he suffered an injury. Once he recovered from that he started training with Motherwell before coming on trial with Saints - ironically playing against the Steelmen in an under-20 match the other week. Obviously the Saints coaching staff have liked what they saw and he has now signed until the summer. Welcome aboard Paul!
