We can break Blues run - Hahnemann

Wolves, who are without a Premier League victory since beating Burnley on December 20, badly need a win to boost their battle against relegation. But getting that win at Birmingham promises to be a tough task.Birmingham are unbeaten in their last nine home games having not lost in front of their own fans since their 2-1 defeat against Bolton on September 26.Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have all failed to win at St Andrew's this season but Hahnemann thinks Wolves could be the team to break Birmingham's run.Hahnemann, who returns to the side after being rested for the humiliating 3-1 FA Cup defeat at Crystal Palace on Tuesday, said: "Birmingham are a fair number of games unbeaten at home."But the longer those things go the more it is a challenge for someoneto break it. So why not us?"They've been playing well but if we play as we can we've got a chanceof being the team to end that streak."As well as needing a win, Wolves are also out for revenge after being beaten 1-0 by Birmingham following a poor performance at Molineux in November. With the memory of events at Palace also needing to be erased, Wolves are not short of motivating factors.Hahnemann added: "Against Birmingham last time we had a bad first three minutes, conceded a goal and never recovered."The local derby atmosphere always makes it interesting and the more the crowd are involved the better the game is."Hahnemann does not expect there to be a hangover from the Palace debacle and he is convinced Wolves have a squad capable of staying in the top-flight.He said: "It's good that the bad performance came in the cup because we can now concentrate all our attention on the league which ultimately is the main thing that matters."The games are so vital now and while it would have been nice to have had a cup run it does sometimes cause problems by adding to the fixture list."It's different for me because I've almost been trained never to be too interested in the cup."The whole time I was at Reading when we were in the Premier League I don't think I played in the cup and it's been the same here."The cup is great particularly for teams from the lower leagues when they get one of the big boys and make some money from it."But when you get to the Premier League you realise how important it is to stay there and sometimes the extra games from the cup don't help."We know exactly what we've got left now - 15 games - and what we need to do to stay up."We've got unbelievable players here and a decent-sized squad."We have a settled squad and we know what we've got to do between now and the end of the season."Like most people this season, Hahnemann has been impressed with the way Birmingham have been playing after being promoted along with Wolves in May."Birmingham are playing really well and are a good side," said Hahnemann."They've got some quality players who have gelled together really well." Birmingham 4/5, Draw 12/5, Wolves 4/1
