Morten Gamst Pedersen keeps Blackburn waiting over three-year deal

Morten Gamst Pedersen has been told to stop stringing Blackburn along over his future. The Norwegian winger is out of contract in the summer and is holding off signing a new deal amid interest from Fenerbahce and a clutch of Premier League sides. Offer: Morten Gamst Pedersen Manager Sam Allardyce wants him to accept the three-year contract on offer - with Celtic also keen. Allardyce said: 'We will find out in the next week or two whether he will commit. We should know by then whether it is a string out or real negotiations. 'The world we live in means everyone knows their value, and if you can't pay the going rate they will try to find somewhere else.'
