Modric 48 hours from being a Madrid player

Luka Modric is expected in Madrid to finalise personal terms and a medical ahead of his move to Spanish Champions Real Madrid within the next 48 hours.Spanish paper Marca is claiming the fee for the Midfielder would be £25m with an additional £4.7m in potential add-ons.Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has played hard ball with Madrid insisting all summer that the player would not move unless his valuation of £40m was met.The situation has now changed and Spurs are willing to offload the player for a significantly smaller fee.Source: Marca / Daily Telegraph
