Xabi Alonso return to Liverpool on the cards

Former Kop idol Xabi Alonso could be coming back to the Premier league with former club Liverpool a possible destination.Barcelona paper Sport is claiming that the midfielder's contract with Real Madrid runs until 2014, has decided against extending his deal for a further 2 years. They claim Alonso would be willing to listen to offers from other clubs next summer.
