Reading midfielder Jem Karacan has pledged to end his goal drought as Brian McDermott's side look to climb away from danger in the Championship.
Karacan has become a regular since McDermott took over at the Madejski Stadium but he is yet to find the net this season and admits that must change.
He said: "We have to be more ruthless in front of goal and maybe finish games off earlier.
"I need to work on my finishing a little bit more and hopefully the goals will come.
"We do need to get more goals from all around the team and I've got to take a bit of the blame."
