Bury boss Alan Knill has tipped Manchester United rookie Sam Hewson to shine during his loan spell at Gigg Lane.
The attacking midfielder, 21, has joined the promotion-chasing Shakers until the end of the campaign.
He will go straight into the squad for the trip to Bradford on Saturday, and Knill said: "Sam is a talented footballer and he fits into a number of positions in the system we play - midfield, in the hole or out wide.
"He has an eye for goal and we are hoping that he adds a bit of quality and competition to the squad.
"We have been working really hard to have a relationship with Manchester United and it works out well for us and them because it gives Sam an opportunity to play."
