Parkinson satisfied with one point

A hotly-disputed penalty cost the 10-man Saddlers victory against the promotion-chasing Addicks in the League One clash at the Banks's Stadium on Tuesday night.Home defender Jamie Vincent appeared to win the ball when he tackled Akpo Sodje in the 45th minute, but referee Andy Haines pointed straight to the spot.Deon Burton hammered in the spot-kick to equalise after Walsall had gone in front after 32 minutes. Troy Deeney, who was later sent off, headed his 10th of the season from teenager Darryl Westlake's cross.Parkinson said: "We dominated for long periods of the game and you expect to come away with three points, but we conceded a goal against the run of play."We got back into the game and in the second half played with a lot of good energy and good delivery into the box and I couldn't ask any more from the boys. I saw Walsall playing Norwich a couple of weeks ago and they were excellent, so we expected a tough game."
