Austin agrees new Swindon deal

The 20-year-old starlet has attracted the attention of several clubs with his goalscoring exploits since arriving from non-League Poole Town in October. But Robins manager Danny Wilson was always confident he would remain at the County Ground. It emerged on Monday that Austin was in the process of finalising a new deal and that has now been completed, with Town also having the option to extend his stay for at least another year. The youngster's initial eight-month contract was due to expire at the end of the season but Swindon have activated a clause which has seen his stay extended.Wilson has also insisted he will look to the loan market when it reopens next week in a bid to secure the players he narrowly missed out on when the transfer window closed on Monday.Elsewhere, defender Hasney Aljofree has left Swindon by mutual consent having recently returned to fitness after a lengthy absence with injury.
