Cobblers boss left disappointed

The Cobblers had trailed to Shaun Harrad's second-half opener before Andy Holt levelled matters. Northampton then almost won it in stoppage time but substitute Kevin Thornton was denied by the woodwork."We've not played well in our last two games but have still taken four points," said Sampson. "We didn't start well but I was pleased with the way we finished and we should have won it in the end."We were very disjointed in the first half, we hit too many long balls and we had to change it at half-time."We had chances in both halves but we played much better in the second half, especially the last 30 minutes."
