Gradi: Fletcher was the key man

The Cherries frontman headed home the opener before playing a part in Anton Robinson's second for the visitors. Substitute Luke Murphy gave Crewe hope with a second-half strike but Eddie Howe's side held on for all three points.Gradi said: "The old man Fletcher did us twice. He was a real handful and if he had been playing for us then I think we would have won."He added: "We were decent enough but we have played better and we made a few bad decisions when we found space in their box. I have no criticism of my players - they all gave it their all."Crewe saw Daniel O'Donnell and Ashley Westwood forced off through injury, but Gradi added: "We had to make some substitutions because of injuries but I don't think we can blame them. You could actually say they helped us as Carl Martin was immaculate when he came on and Luke Murphy scored a goal."
