Terriers boss hails Eccleston

Eccleston arrived at the Galpharm Stadium on-loan from Liverpool on Thursday, and his 23rd minute strike following a mix up in the home defence was enough to put his side on the verge of the League One play-offs.Clark fielded fellow new-boys Neal Trotman and Dean Heffernan in his starting XI, but the Terriers boss singled out 19-year-old Eccleston for his part in an important win that keeps the promotion dream on track."He linked up well with Jordan Rhodes and looked useful," said Clark. "It was a result we needed and we have to grind them out at places like this."I have told every player that it's something we have to do in every match for the remainder of the season to keep that play-off dream alive."He went down with a cut knee and as he was not fully match-fit it seemed a good time to make a change. He had done his job and I am very happy with him."
