Cooper won't give up on survival

Cooper, who replaced Darren Ferguson as manager in November despite never having managed a Football League club before, has endured a torrid time at London Road, with just one win in 12 games. However, the former Kettering man has received support from Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony and was complimented on his work ethic."I speak to the chairman regularly as well as after every game and he is very supportive," Cooper told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph."I'm not a man for excuses, but the chairman knows what has been going on here. It's been a difficult time for everyone, but the chairman just tells me to keep working hard and to keep going."And yet there are still encouraging signs. We know what we have to do and that's get 10 wins."
