Fox hunt over as Dan joins Clarets

The Premier League club's capture of the 23-year-old continues a busy few days in the transfer market for new Clarets boss Brian Laws, who earlier this week signed defender Leon Cort and goalkeeper Nicky Weaver.Fox, a former England Under-21 international, has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Turf Moor.Fox joined Celtic last summer and started 22 games for the Scottish side but has recently found his first-team opportunities limited under Hoops boss Tony Mowbray, who gave the player the green light to return to England. The former Everton trainee played over 100 games for Walsall between 2005 and 2008 before a successful 18-month spell with Coventry attracted the attentions of the Parkhead club.Fox, who qualifies to play for Scotland and was called up to the senior squad for a friendly against Japan in October, will not be part of Laws' side for tomorrow's Premier League encounter with Chelsea at Turf Moor.
