Solano awaits international clearance

The Foxes are hopeful they will receive international clearance in time for the late kick-off on Saturday. The hold-up has been caused by delays at the Peruvian FA.Solano, who had two spells at Newcastle between 1998 to 2004 and 2005 to 2007, has been training with Leicester for the last week.Veteran defender Chris Powell could make his first home appearance of the season for Nigel Pearson's side. The 40-year-old made his first Championship start of the campaign in the defeat at Barnsley on Tuesday night.Regular left-back Bruno Berner is still out with the calf problem he sustained against Sheffield Wednesday in mid-December while his deputy Ryan McGivern was dropped after struggling with form in recent weeks.Berner is back in training but it remains to be seen when he will be involved again following such a long absence.Kick-off in the East Midlands is at 5.20pm.
