Ferguson salutes positive players

After a thumping 4-2 defeat at Bristol City in his first game in charge, Ferguson has seen his side push Chelsea hard in last weekend's FA Cup fourth-round defeat before winning 1-0 at Peterborough.North End now face Ipswich and Barnsley at Deepdale, and Ferguson has urged his men to reassert their play-off credentials by collecting maximum points.Ferguson said: "The players have been spot on since I came in, really positive and bright in training."We've got two home games now and if we were to win them you're only looking up but we've got to continue to work hard."If we can manage to get six points out of the next two league games then we'll be close to the play-offs which I'll be happy about."
