David Moyes wants Everton FC to get FA Cup misery out of their system against Sunderland

DAVID Moyes today challenged his Everton players to overcome their FA Cup misery by climbing further up the Premier League with victory over Sunderland. The Toffees have had little time in training to prove that the disappointment of their 2-1 defeat by Birmingham City is out of their system. But the Scot insists tonight is the perfect opportunity for the players to make amends for the poor first half performance which cost them during Saturday's 4th round tie.He said: 'In training, we are not doing an awful lot because we're playing Saturday and Wednesday, so the only reaction they can show me and the supporters is on the field.'In the main the boys here have been good. They know what they have to do, so I'm hoping for a good performance.'But he revealed that Mikel Arteta, who made a surprise 15-minute cameo at the weekend, only has a 50-50 chance of being fit for the visit of Steve Bruce's struggling Sunderland. The Spaniard made his comeback after almost a year out with a cruciate knee injury. But he sustained a minor groin strain in a practice game against Bury on Monday, and Moyes will take no risks as he attempts to coax him back to full fitness.Philippe Senderos is likely to be on the bench against the Wearsiders, as could Victor Anichebe. The Nigerian striker played in the same practise game as Arteta, and is nearing fitness.
